What does Toivo do?
Toivo is a Nigerian research and policy organisation. We publish research and policy analysis on family wellbeing in Nigeria, and we are developing ANC Plus, a programme model for parental preparedness delivered through routine antenatal care.
Is Toivo currently delivering programmes?
Not yet. Toivo currently operates as a research and policy organisation. ANC Plus, our flagship programme model, is in development and has not yet been piloted or delivered. We describe our stage of development accurately rather than implying otherwise.
What is ANC Plus?
ANC Plus is a structured parenting preparation curriculum designed for delivery within routine antenatal care contacts, through Community Health Extension Workers at primary healthcare centres. It is designed to require no new staff, infrastructure, or additional visits.
How is Toivo funded?
Toivo is supported by individual donations, made through one-time or monthly giving, alongside funder relationships that are still in development. Details are available on our Donate page.
How can I support Toivo's work?
