Tolulope Olagunju

Founder & Executive Director

Tolulope Olagunju is the Founder and Executive Director of Toivo Family and Community Initiative, where she leads the organisation’s research, policy engagement and strategic direction on strengthening family and community systems as foundations for sustainable development.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Law, with a specialisation in the intersection of human rights, emerging technologies and public policy. Her academic and research work has focused on the implications of artificial intelligence for the protection of fundamental rights, particularly in contexts characterised by institutional and social vulnerabilities.

At Toivo, she is shaping a multidisciplinary agenda that integrates policy analysis with community-informed approaches to development, with a focus on early childhood outcomes, human rights protections, and the translation of research into practical, context-responsive solutions.
